The field of design means a lot to me as a creative because it allows me to express myself and my vision clearly. I want to not only display my piece but to show the multitudes of visions and ideas I have around that one idea. If it is fashion I want to show you my mood board, the photography to show the aesthetic, and anything that I really can that pushes my vision further.

I always liked taking on bigger projects and utilizing different areas in the artistic field to achieve my designs and pushing myself creatively. With the constant challenge I gave myself in my art classes my teachers praised me. Throughout my time in high school and college I wanted to keep doing more artistically and creating pieces that I knew showed that effort.

This image is the first artwork of mine that got recognized while I was in middle school. The piece was called Oni Blast and it featured my doodle style at that time with the Japanese folklore demon “Oni”. It was also displayed at the Portland Art Museum amongst other students who were chosen that year for this event.
